QA Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer, with a strong product and systems

mindset. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in scaling and enhancing our

automation frameworks, while driving quality across Web and API platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms to ensure

high-quality releases.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using tools like

Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.

• Execute automated tests and report results with defects and logs.

• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab

CI).

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify system requirements

and resolve issues.

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.

• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and utilities for reusability and

scalability.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test

automation.

• Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements.

• Document test results, test coverage, and automation metrics.

Skills And Experience

• 3+ years of Strong experience in automation testing using Cypress,

Playwright,Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG, Junit, or Cucumber.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, or JavaScript.

• Solid understanding of automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid).

• Hands-on experience with API testing and automation.

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail,

Zephyr).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Performance/Load/ Accessibility testing.

• ISTQB Certification or similar.
