Total Experience: Minimum 5 years for Diploma Holders

Relevant Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years in a related field

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer to join the Forging Design department at our GETPL Karoli Plant. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CAM programming, 2D drawing preparation, and document control, with the ability to manage and improve engineering processes. This is a hands-on role requiring practical knowledge of NX software, drafting, and the forging industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. CAM Programming (NX Software)

- Demonstrate strong proficiency in CAM Programming using NX Software to design and optimize forging processes.

2. 2D Drawing and Drafting

- Develop and maintain 2D drawings using NX Software, ensuring proper detailing, dimensioning, and drafting of forging parts and tools.

3. Bill of Material (BOM) & Documentation

- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), data sheets, and manage ECN/ECNR (Engineering Change Notice/Request) documents.

- Ensure proper documentation control systems are in place to maintain document integrity and traceability.

4. System Documentation Control

- Assist in the development and management of systems related to documentation, ensuring that all files are up-to-date and accessible for team members.

5. Office Software Proficiency

- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for preparing reports, presentations, and data analysis as required for design and production activities.

Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Qualification:

- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field).

- Experience:

- Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant experience in Forging Design, with practical knowledge of CAM programming and NX software.

- Prior experience in 2D drawing preparation, detailing, and drafting of forging parts is essential.

- Technical Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of NX Software (CAM programming, 2D drawings).

- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

- Understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) preparation and ECN/ECNR document handling.

- Communication Skills:

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
