Engineer I Electrical & Electronics Engineering IX
- Dynamic and technically proficient Engineer – Electrical Engineering with expertise in Power Electronics, UPS Systems, Static Switches, and Power Distribution Units (PDU).
- Responsible for designing, selecting components, creating electrical drawings, testing, and validating new products.
- Hands-on experience in design-to-deployment lifecycle, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Design & Development
- Design, analyse, and validate electrical systems for UPS, Static Switches, and PDUs.
- Select suitable electrical components (contactors, relays, busbars, switches, transformers, semiconductors, etc.) ensuring cost, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Prepare and review schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical layout drawings.
- Support in PCB/Control board interface design with electronics and mechanical teams.
- Testing & Validation
- Define and develop test plans, test procedures, and validation protocols for new products.
- Conduct initial product testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards (IEC/IS/UL/CE).
- Document test results and provide feedback for design improvements.
- Project Execution
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electronics, Firmware, Manufacturing, QA) during product development.
- Support prototype development, pilot builds, and production handover.
- Participate in design reviews, technical audits, and customer inspections when required.
- Documentation & Standards
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design records.
- Ensure designs meet international standards and certification requirements.
- Contribute to BOM preparation, cost optimization, and vendor evaluation.
Qualifications
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics or technology field with strong technical competencies
Additional / Preferred Qualifications
- At least 4-5 years’ experience preferably in UPS / Power Electronics industry
- Good knowledge of Power Electronics, UPS systems, Static Switches, PDUs.
- Experience in electrical component selection and sizing.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD / CREO / Solid-Edge /any electrical CAD tools.
- Understanding of PCB interface, wiring harness, and busbar design.
- Knowledge of testing instruments (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, load banks, etc.).
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IS, UL, CE, RoHS, EMC/EMI).
