The EMSO will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing day-to-day emergency medical services. The role involves overseeing ambulance operations, ensuring quality patient care, training EMT staff, and liaising with hospitals, authorities, and the community to deliver timely emergency response under the 108 framework.
Supervise and monitor ambulance services (108) for timely and efficient response.
Please ensure that proper training, stabilisation, and transportation of patients to healthcare facilities are in place.
Coordinate with EMTs, drivers, call centre operators, and hospital staff.
Monitor field performance, ensure compliance with medical protocols, and conduct audits.
Provide on-ground support and guidance during critical emergencies or mass casualty incidents.
Conduct regular training and refresher sessions for EMTs and paramedics.
Maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to government/organisational policies.
Implement quality improvement initiatives in EMS delivery.
Act as liaison between field teams and higher management for operational issues.
Promote public awareness of 108 Emergency Services through outreach and education programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences / Nursing / Paramedical Science / Healthcare Management.
Certification/Diploma in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedics, or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience in emergency medical response, hospital ER, or ambulance operations.
Strong knowledge of pre-hospital care, triage, and emergency protocols.
Good leadership, coordination, and crisis management skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
Ability to work in high-pressure, 24x7 operational environments.
Experience with large-scale ambulance/EMS projects (e.g., 108 Services).
Training in Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS).
Familiarity with disaster management protocols and mass casualty handling.
