Job Title: Employee Relations Associate (Degree in Psychology or relevant field is a MUST)

Position Overview:

Employee Relations Associate

The successful candidate will partner with leadership and finance teams to address employee relations matters, promote organizational health, and assist with compensation-related discussions and negotiations in alignment with company policy and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns, ensuring fair, timely, and confidential resolution.
  • Partner with HR leadership and department heads to mediate workplace conflicts and improve team dynamics.
  • Conduct investigations and document findings on employee issues such as conduct, performance, or policy violations.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, wellness programs, and surveys to measure and improve workplace satisfaction.
  • Use psychological and behavioural principles to design interventions that enhance motivation, trust, and communication.
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching managers on behavioural and motivational approaches.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to support compensation discussions, offer negotiations, and retention strategies.
  • Prepare reports and analyse data trends related to attrition, engagement, and employee relations metrics.
  • Contribute to the development and communication of HR policies, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Lead or assist in training sessions on conflict resolution, leadership communication, and emotional intelligence.

  • Experience:

    13 years of relevant HR, employee relations, or people operations experience.
  • Knowledge:

    • HR practices, labor laws, and internal policy development.
    • Behavioral psychology and workplace motivation strategies.
    • Understanding of compensation structure, negotiation techniques, and financial acumen.

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, mediation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact with executives and employees at all levels.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset for interpreting engagement and turnover metrics.
  • Financial awareness ability to support compensation reviews, offer structuring, and budget-aligned negotiations.
  • Empathetic listener with a high degree of emotional intelligence and confidentiality.
