Job Description

Job Summary:

IoT Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop
end-to-end IoT solutions
(device, gateway, cloud, and application layers)
Develop and maintain
firmware
for IoT devices using Embedded C/C++ or Python
Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules with microcontrollers
Implement and manage
IoT communication protocols
(MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, WebSockets)
Connect devices to
cloud platforms
(AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT)
Build and manage device provisioning, OTA updates, and remote monitoring
Ensure
data security
, device authentication, and encryption
Monitor device performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability
Collaborate with hardware, backend, and frontend teams
Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in
Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field
Strong knowledge of
Embedded Systems and IoT architecture
Proficiency in
C / C++ / Python
Hands-on experience with
microcontrollers
(ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
Experience with
wireless communication technologies
(Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT)
Good understanding of
networking concepts
(TCP/IP, DNS, REST APIs)
Familiarity with
cloud services
and IoT platforms
Experience with Linux and version control tools (Git)

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Experience with
Edge Computing
Knowledge of
data analytics and visualization
Experience with
Docker / Kubernetes
Exposure to
AI/ML integration in IoT
Understanding of
industrial IoT (IIoT)
standards
Experience with mobile or web dashboards for IoT data

Tools & Technologies:

Hardware: ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32
Protocols: MQTT, HTTP, CoAP
Cloud: AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud
Databases: SQL / NoSQL (InfluxDB, MongoDB)
OS: Linux
Version Control: Git
