Job Description

Job Summary :

Embedded Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and debug embedded software for microcontrollers and embedded platforms
Develop firmware using
C / C++
for real-time and bare-metal systems
Work with
RTOS
(FreeRTOS, Zephyr, VxWorks, etc.)
Interface with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and communication modules
Implement and test communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet)
Perform board bring-up, debugging, and hardware-software integration
Optimize code for performance, memory, and power efficiency
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation
Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and issue resolution

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in
Electronics / Electrical / Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering
Strong proficiency in
Embedded C / C++
Hands-on experience with
microcontrollers
(ARM, STM32, AVR, PIC, ESP32, etc.)
Experience with
RTOS concepts
and multitasking
Good understanding of
digital electronics
and hardware schematics
Knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope)
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

Experience with
Linux-based embedded systems
Device driver development experience
Knowledge of
IoT protocols
(MQTT, CoAP)
Experience with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa)
Exposure to safety-critical or automotive standards (ISO, MISRA, AUTOSAR)

Tools & Technologies:

IDEs: Keil, IAR, STM32CubeIDE, Arduino IDE
Debuggers: JTAG, OpenOCD
Communication tools: Serial Monitor, Logic Analyzer
Version Control: Git
