· Evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors and OEM partners.
· Issue and track purchase orders for components and services.
· Serve as the interface between internal teams and external technology providers.
· Understand technical documentation, specs, and embedded systems requirements (without designing).
· Manage manufacturing partners to ensure quality, deadlines, and supply continuity.
· Coordinate hardware testing, QA, and field-readiness processes.
· Identify and mitigate risks in hardware deployment environments (e.g., temperature, interference, durability).
· Maintain production schedules, BOM coordination, and logistics tracking.
· Collaborate with engineering to document technical handoffs and clarify requirements to vendors.
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.
· 5+ years in embedded systems operations, manufacturing, or technical program management.
· Exposure to hardware testing standards, certifications, and field deployment conditions.
· Strong skills in vendor negotiation, documentation, and cross-functional communication.
· Experience coordinating with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) partners is a plus.
