Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced for our Embedded Systems team specializing in Wireless, Internet, and Telecom Products. In this role, you talented engineers to design, develop, and optimize embedded systems for communication devices and network solutions. The position requires a candidate with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, networking, and telecom hardware and software development. You will be responsible for guiding the team, contributing to technical decisions, and ensuring successful project delivery while growing your expertise in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:
• Manage embedded engineers working on telecom and networking product development.
• Promote a collaborative and innovative environment to enhance team productivity.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects by organizing tasks, reviewing technical output, and providing mentoring.
• Technical Guidance:
• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of embedded systems for networking and communication products.
• Provide technical direction on system integration, firmware development, and hardware-software co-design.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and telecom regulations (e.g., 3GPP, IEEE, IETF).
• Project Management:
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of embedded solutions in alignment with telecom product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with network engineers, software developers, and product managers to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet market demands.
• Proactively identify potential risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the project stays on track with deadlines.
• Research & Development:
• Evaluate emerging technologies in the Internet and telecom domains, and assess their relevance for product development.
• Drive innovation in areas such as 5G, IoT connectivity, and networking protocols.
• Recommend improvements to the embedded systems’ architecture, tools, and processes to ensure they remain state-of-the-art.
• Client Interaction:
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for both clients and internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in embedded systems development, particularly in Internet and telecom products.
• Proven experience leading and managing a technical team.
• Experience in the design, development, and deployment of embedded systems in networking hardware (routers, modems, switches) or communication devices.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of embedded programming (C/C++) and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP) and telecom standards (e.g., 5G, LTE, VoIP).
• Experience with microcontrollers, network processors, FPGAs, or ASICs for telecom applications.
• Familiarity with network communication protocols and interfaces like Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with telecom infrastructure products (e.g., base stations, network gateways, and edge computing devices) – added bonus.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies as they relate to telecom networks (e.g., NFV, SDN).
• Familiarity with security best practices for telecom devices and embedded systems.
• Experience in low-latency, high-throughput embedded systems for high-performance networking equipment.
