Electronics Maintenance Supervisor

An Electronics Maintenance Assistant helps skilled technicians by performing installations, routine maintenance, and repairs on electronic equipment and systems under supervision. Key responsibilities include assisting with troubleshooting and diagnostics, testing equipment using specialized tools, assembling components, performing preventative maintenance, documenting work activities, and maintaining tools and work areas. The role requires strong technical skills, physical dexterity, analytical abilities, and knowledge of health and safety regulations.  Responsibilities Assisting with Maintenance and Repair: Conducting routine maintenance and cleaning of electronic equipment.  Assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and repairing faulty components.  Performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment efficiency.  Installation and Assembly: Assembling, installing, and configuring electronic components and systems.  Interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for installation and assembly tasks.  Testing and Documentation: Conducting tests and analyzing data to ensure electronic equipment meets performance standards.  Accurately documenting all installation, maintenance, and repair activities.  Equipment and Tool Management: Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.  Maintaining a neat and orderly work area, along with tools and inventory.  Team Collaboration: Collaborating with and assisting senior technicians and engineers.  Providing support and training to new technicians or apprentices.  Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and find solutions.  Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation, including diagrams and schematics.  Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic electronic testing instruments.  Physical & Cognitive Abilities: Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity to handle components and tools.  Attention to detail and ability to work in a demanding environment.  Work Ethic & Other Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain records.  Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.  Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team interaction.
