Job Title: Electrician Job Type: Full-time Location: Guwahati Reports To: Service Manager Summary:We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols, and be capable of diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions. Key Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, and control systems. Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs. Ensure electrical installations comply with local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC). Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Maintain and ensure the safe operation of tools and equipment. Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, or clients as needed. Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and hours worked. Follow all safety standards and procedures. Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or technical school. Valid electrician license/certification as required by state/local regulations. Proven experience as an electrician (minimum 2-4 years preferred). Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to read technical documents and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors). Valid driver’s license (if required for travel between job sites). Preferred Qualifications:Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work. Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., solar). Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or automation systems.
