Job Description

Role Overview


Electrical Systems Interns


Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine

    Simulink/Simscape models

    for electrical subsystems such as battery management, motor control, and power distribution. 
  • Support

    electrical system architecture design

    including HV/LV power distribution, interlocks, and protection systems. 
  • Assist in

    component benchmarking and selection

    (motors, inverters, BMS, DC-DC converters, etc.). 
  • Perform

    powertrain and energy efficiency analysis

    to optimize performance. 
  • Contribute to

    wiring harness layout, packaging, and connector selection

    in coordination with the mechanical team. 
  • Participate in

    fault analysis, circuit simulation, and testing

    of subsystems. 
  • Support documentation and report preparation for design reviews. 



Preferred Qualifications


  • Pursuing a

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Power Engineering

    . 
  • Familiarity with

    MATLAB/Simulink

    for electrical system modeling and control logic. 
  • Understanding of

    EV powertrain components and architectures

    . 
  • Basic knowledge of

    circuit design and analysis

    (LTSpice, PLECS, or equivalent). 
  • Experience with

    CAD tools for electrical systems

    (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, Altium, AutoCAD Electrical) is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. 
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
