Electrical Production Manager

Job Summary

The Production Manager – R&D (Electrical) is responsible for overseeing the technical management, supervision, and control of the electrical production processes, particularly in the development and assembly of battery packs. The role involves end-to-end oversight of production—from planning and scheduling to quality control, safety, and team management.

Key Responsibilities● Production Management

Oversee the full production cycle from planning to completion. Develop and manage production schedules, monitor workflow, and ensure optimum utilisation of electrical and production resources.

● Electrical Technical Expertise

Apply strong electrical engineering knowledge in battery pack assembly, wiring, integration, testing, and commissioning.

● Design & Analysis

Support design evaluations using electrical analysis tools and knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, and electrical load/thermal considerations.

● Vendor & Material Coordination

Coordinate with vendors and the procurement team to ensure availability of electrical components, battery materials, and production supplies.

● Quality & Safety Compliance

Establish and enforce electrical quality standards. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and industry-specific norms.

● Process Improvement

Identify electrical process bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

● Team Leadership

Lead and guide the electrical production team. Provide training, monitor performance, and ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Qualifications

● B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering.
● Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in electrical production, battery systems, or related manufacturing roles.

Required Skills & Expertise

● Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design tools, 3D modeling, and drafting using SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
● Hands-on Knowledge: Experience in prototyping, testing, electrical validation, and troubleshooting.
● Product Development: Understanding of concept-to-prototype cycles, DFM, DFA, and reliability engineering.
● Standards & Safety: Awareness of ISO, IEC, and other electrical industry standards.
● Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, analytical and organisational capabilities.
● Innovation: Familiarity with new technologies, patent research, and emerging electrical manufacturing techniques.

Salary Range

₹40,000 to ₹45,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
