Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage systems for projects.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other engineering teams for smooth project execution.
• Monitor site activities and ensure that electrical installations are carried out as per approved drawings and safety standards.
• Prepare material requirements, raise purchase requests, and verify material quality upon delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and testing & commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory codes, IS standards, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation and project handover.
• Coordinate with subcontractors/vendors and supervise their work.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and update project progress to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum [2] years of experience in electrical works (preferably in construction, interiors, or turnkey projects).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, MEP coordination, and site execution.
• Proficiency in reading AutoCAD drawings and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with load calculations, cable sizing, and power distribution design.
• Good understanding of IS/IEC codes and safety norms.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting.
