Electrical Engineer

Role Purpose:

To ensure uninterrupted electrical power supply, control system reliability, and seamless automation across all plant operations. This role is critical to maintaining high equipment up time, process consistency, and operational safety in rCB, pyrolysis, and jet mill processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance:
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical panels, drives, motors, MCCs, power distribution systems, lighting, and utility equipment.

PLC & SCADA Systems:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems to ensure accurate process control and automation functionality.

Instrumentation Support:
Support calibration and maintenance of field instruments (sensors, transmitters, actuators) in coordination with Instrumentation specialists where applicable.

Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and PLC logic errors to minimize production downtime.

Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records of electrical maintenance, PLC program versions, SCADA configurations, and equipment status reports.

Spares & Inventory:
Coordinate with Maintenance Planner and Store Assistant to ensure critical spares availability for electrical systems and PLC hardware.

Safety & Compliance:
Strictly follow EHS norms, electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures during all maintenance work.

Continuous Improvement:
Participate in TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and other improvement projects to enhance electrical system reliability and energy efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Mechanical Technicians, Production Teams, and Utility In-Charge to support plant-wide maintenance activities.

Qualifications Education:

• Diploma/BE in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation (Mandatory)
• PLC/SCADA Certification or Training (Preferred)

Experience:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in electrical & automation maintenance
• Preferred industries: rCB, Carbon Black, Tyre, Rubber, Chemicals, Pyrolysis, Cement, Steel, FMCG, or process industries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
