Job Description: Electrical Engineer (PCB & GPS Device Development)Position
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in PCB design, embedded systems, and electronic device development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and developing a GPS-enabled device and other electronic solutions from concept to production. This role requires hands-on experience in circuit design, PCB layout, firmware integration, and hardware testing.

⸻Key Responsibilities PCB Design & Development Design, simulate, and develop PCB layouts for electronic devices. Work with CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, or OrCAD). Ensure designs meet electrical, thermal, and safety compliance standards. GPS Device Development Design and integrate GPS modules and antennas into electronic devices. Develop and optimize circuits for GPS performance, signal accuracy, and low power consumption. Collaborate with firmware engineers to ensure seamless communication with microcontrollers/processors. Electrical Device Prototyping Develop circuit schematics, select electronic components, and build prototypes. Conduct performance testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of circuits and devices. Optimize devices for efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers). Prepare technical documentation, schematics, BOMs, and design reports. Support product testing, certification, and compliance with relevant industry standards.⸻Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in PCB design and circuit development. Strong knowledge of GPS systems, RF modules, and embedded systems. Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, or OrCAD. Solid understanding of microcontrollers, power supply design, sensors, and communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.). Hands-on experience with soldering, prototyping, and testing tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers). Knowledge of EMI/EMC considerations, power management, and low-power circuit design. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.⸻Preferred Qualifications Experience in designing IoT-enabled devices with GPS, GSM, or LoRaWAN. Familiarity with firmware programming (C/C++ or Python) for microcontrollers. Prior experience in mass production and hardware scaling.
