Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable EHS laws, regulations, and company standards.
Liaise with government authorities and statutory bodies for permits, audits, and inspections.
Develop and implement site-specific EHS policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance.
Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement mitigation measures.
Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
Lead investigations of incidents, near misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications Experience

Bachelor s Degree or B.E/B.Tech (Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field). M asters degree in safety management or a related discipline will have an added advantage.
8-10 years of EHS experience in Manufacturing or Industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of Indian Statutory requirements and Global EHS standards.
Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance and interact with government agencies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety professional), NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor, OSHA will have an added advantage.
