The consultant will play a key role in delivering Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials solutions for global customers. The role involves driving functional design, leading implementations, managing enhancements, and supporting finance transformation initiatives across Oracle EBS R12.Required Skills & Experience
8–15 years of strong functional experience in Oracle EBS R12 Financials.Hands-on implementation experience in at least 3–5 full-cycle Finance projects
.Strong functional depth in AP, AR, GL, SLA, FA, CM, EB-Tax
with good understanding of subledger accounting and period close processes.Ability to design and configure financial setups aligned to business requirements.Good understanding of integrations with SCM, Projects, Procurement, and external systems.Strong skills in requirement gathering, FIT-GAP analysis, testing, and documentation.Ability to coordinate with technical teams (SQL, PL/SQL, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Experience Working With Global Customers, Onsite/offshore Coordination Preferred.
Good to Have
Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials is an added advantage.Experience with finance transformation or migration programs.Knowledge of SOX, compliance, and audit processes.Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or professional finance certification is a plus.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Oracle EBS Finance implementations and upgrades across global customer engagements.Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into scalable Oracle EBS solutions.Configure and support core Finance modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, SLA, and EB-Tax.Perform FIT-GAP analysis, prepare functional design documents (MD50), and collaborate with technical teams for solution delivery.Drive UAT, regression testing, and production cutover activities.Partner with cross-functional teams (SCM, Projects, HR, Technical) to ensure seamless integration.Provide post-production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of SRs.Participate in solution workshops, design reviews, and customer presentations.Ensure adherence to Oracle implementation methodologies and quality standards.Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.Qualifications
