About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Email Campaign Development: Design and implement targeted email outreach campaigns to engage U.S. police departments, ensuring alignment with our content acquisition goals.
• Content Creation: Craft compelling and professional email content that effectively communicates our requests and fosters positive relationships with law enforcement agencies.
• Data Management: Organize and structure collected data to ensure accuracy and usability for video scripts.
• Follow-Up and Communication: Maintain consistent follow-up on pending requests and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Compliance: Ensure all email communications comply with legal and ethical standards, particularly concerning public data handling.
  

Requirements

• Educational Background: Graduate in any field; degrees in Mass Communication, Journalism, Law, or English are preferred.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in email communication, research, or outreach-based roles.
• Skills:
• Excellent email writing and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools or Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and follow-ups.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and its application in data acquisition.
• Interest in true crime content and storytelling.
