An eCommerce despatch operations role involves managing the process of fulfilling online orders,from packing to shipping. This includes ensuring accurate order processing, timely delivery, and efficient logistics. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various teams (warehouse, logistics partners, courier services), managing inventory, and handling customer inquiries related to shipping. Key Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment: Process and prepare orders for shipping, including packing, labeling, and generating shipping documents like invoices and packing lists. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring product availability and coordinating with suppliers for restocking. Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics partners and courier services to schedule pickups, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries related to shipping, tracking, and returns. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in the order fulfillment process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Compliance: Ensure adherence to shipping regulations and internal procedures. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and customer interactions. Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on dispatch performance, such as on-time delivery rates and cost-effectiveness. Required Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills: Essential for handling multiple orders and meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Necessary for coordinating with different teams and handling customer inquiries.
