Job Description

Job Title: Duty Manager

Department: Front Office / Operations
Reports To: Resort Manager / Operations Manager
Location: Baywatch Resort Goa

Job Summary:

The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the resort, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all guest services and resort functions. This position requires leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. The Duty Manager ensures that all departments operate in a coordinated and effective manner, and is the key point of contact for both guests and staff during their assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services & Satisfaction:
  • Ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction throughout their stay by addressing guest concerns, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle any guest issues or complaints that may arise during the shift and escalate when necessary.
  • Oversee guest check-in/check-out processes, ensuring they are smooth, efficient, and adhere to the resort’s policies.
  • Ensure that all guest interactions are courteous and professional, following the resort's customer service standards.
  • Operations Oversight:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of all resort departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and recreation, ensuring all areas are functioning effectively.
  • Monitor and manage operational issues related to guest services, staff, and property needs.
  • Maintain the resort’s operational standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Staff Management & Supervision:
  • Supervise resort staff during the assigned shift, including front desk agents, housekeepers, kitchen and F&B staff, and maintenance personnel.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Manage and resolve any staffing issues or conflicts and ensure the staff is motivated, well-equipped, and organized.
  • Monitor the performance of staff on duty, providing feedback and ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with resort standards.
  • Operational Communication:
  • Maintain clear communication with the Resort Manager, department heads, and team members regarding operational issues, special requests, or concerns that arise during the shift.
  • Conduct shift handovers and ensure that relevant information is communicated to the next shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
