Role: Backend Developer

Experience: 5 - 10 Years

Location: Pune

.NET Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications with a focus on robust backend logic and seamless API integrations.

You will work closely with the product team to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that every piece of code is reliable through rigorous automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development: Develop secure, scalable, and high-quality backend services using C# and the .NET Core/.NET 8+ framework.
API Management: Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between various systems and front-end applications.
Database Engineering: Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers using SQL and PL/SQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
Quality Assurance: Implement a "test-first" mindset by writing comprehensive unit tests using NUnit to maintain high code coverage and minimize regressions.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and refactor legacy code to improve system maintainability.

Technical Requirements

Requirements

Language

Expert proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.

APIs

Proven experience building and consuming Web APIs (REST/JSON).

Testing

Strong experience with automated unit testing frameworks, specifically NUnit.

Database

Deep knowledge of Relational Databases (RDBMS) including SQL Server and/or Oracle (PL/SQL).

Architectures

Familiarity with Microservices, Dependency Injection, and SOLID principles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
