PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Works in close relationship with Documentation Lead/Manager to assure that the maintenance documentation is aligned with ISR Documentation description and ISR requirements

Accountabilities & Authorities
Key accountabilities:
- Definition of the maintenance Documentation maintenance PLAN.
- The QCD of the maintenance Documentation Project.
- Excellent skills in writing technical subjects in automobile/rail transportation/aerospace industry.
- Production of the Maintenance Documentation with respect of objective defined in the Documentation management PLAN or ISR Management PLAN.
- German technical document creation and translation as per the project standards specific to the site involved.
- Define the ISR Documentation management PLAN with respect of objective defined in the ISR Management PLAN
- Manage the maintenance documentation team involved in the production of the maintenance Documentation.
- Define and implement organization and key processes, to provide the best quality of the documentation which must be delivered with respect to QCD targets and ISR Management PLAN objective.
- Ensure that Maintenance Documentation is published using Alstom standard Method &Tools standard (Electronic Catalogue)
- Ensure REX is collected and considered for reuse purpose.
- Ensure Documentation database (ILS PDM) is defined and completed correctly
Generic
- Promote usage of standard ISR practice compliant with international standard or Alstom central procedure and Method & Tool
- Effective communication with the customer on Project planning and deliverables. Capitalize data to improve QCD on future project
Performance measurements:
- Quality of Maintenance Documentation deliverable.
- Control of QCD target.
- Customer satisfaction.
Required
EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Engineering University Degree or equivalent.
- C1 Level Certification/Diploma in German Language
Desirable:
- Maintenance Documentation specialization.
Experience
Mandatory:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in German technical writing and Translation.
- Strong experience in Technical documentation for Maintenance manuals, Parts Catalogue, etc. both in German as well as in English.
- Should work as an author and Illustrator as and when required.
- To meet the deliverables as per the contract requirements and coordinate the documentation management activities.
Desirable:
- Experience with Rail /Transportation domain is preferable.
Competencies & Skills
- Good Communication skills: English and German Fluent
- Standard knowledge of the main ISR Elements applicable to Railroad equipment (RAMS, LORA, RCM, LCC)
- Strong HTML/XML skills.
