About The Role

As a DLP Platform Migration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to a new platform. You will ensure accurate migration of policies, optimize enforcement measures, and strengthen our data protection strategies. This role offers significant growth opportunities in the cybersecurity domain, allowing you to expand your technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support migration of DLP policies from the existing platform to the new environment, ensuring accuracy in policy mapping and enforcement.
- Review, validate, and optimize existing DLP policies to improve detection and reduce false positives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align DLP configurations with business and compliance requirements.
- Develop, test, and implement new policy templates to enhance security and compliance posture.
- Work with incident response teams to monitor and validate effectiveness post-migration.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports on migration processes, testing results, and policy configurations.
- Conduct training sessions for security teams on managing and fine-tuning DLP policies.
- Provide technical guidance on DLP policy enforcement, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 36 years of experience in DLP policy management and implementation.
- Proven experience with DLP platform migration or large-scale IT security transitions.
- Hands-on experience with DLP platforms (Symantec, McAfee, Digital Guardian, Forcepoint, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud-based DLP solutions (Microsoft 365, AWS, Google Workspace).
- Strong skills in policy creation, modification, and optimization.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Strong analytical skills for risk detection and security optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
