Director/ Sr Director - HR

Role Overview

Our client, a leading e-commerce company, is looking to hire a Senior Director-HR to partner closely with senior leadership and drive people strategy at scale. The role will have a strong focus on HR Business Partnering, PMS, and talent management, supporting a fast-growing, high-performance organization.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

• Act as a strategic HR partner to CXOs and business leaders across core functions.
• Align people strategy with business goals, growth plans, and operating priorities.
• Advise leaders on org design, workforce planning, talent decisions, and change management.

Performance Management

• Own and continuously evolve the Performance Management framework to drive accountability and outcomes.
• Lead performance reviews, calibration cycles, promotions, and rewards in a structured, data-led manner.

Org Effectiveness & Capability Building

• Design and refine org structures aligned to scale, speed, and profitability.
• Lead succession planning and leadership capability development for critical roles.
• Partner with L&D and Talent teams to build future-ready skills.

Culture & Change Management

• Strengthen a performance-oriented, ownership-driven culture suited to an e-commerce environment.
• Lead people aspects of business transformations, restructures, and new initiatives.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Work closely with Compensation, HR Ops, and Analytics teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Use people metrics and dashboards to drive leadership decisions.

Candidate Profile

• 10–16 years of progressive HR experience, with deep exposure to HRBP roles.
• Strong background in e-commerce, consumer tech, marketplaces, or high-growth internet companies.
• Proven experience building and running robust PMS frameworks.
• Track record of driving org effectiveness, and performance improvement.
