We are inviting applications for the position of Director (School of Engineering) to lead our engineering programs with vision, passion, and academic integrity.

Position: Director (School of Engineering)Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand Reports To: Chairman / Governing Body

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership to the School of Engineering, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, and industry collaboration.
• Drive faculty development, mentor academic staff, and foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
• Oversee curriculum design and implementation in alignment with AICTE / UGC norms and emerging industry needs.
• Establish and strengthen industry partnerships, research collaborations, and consultancy projects.
• Ensure measurable improvement in student outcomes – placements, internships, higher education pathways, and entrepreneurship.
• Lead accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance initiatives (NBA, NAAC, NIRF etc.).
• Drive initiatives for research, patents, publications, and funded projects.
• Create a student-centric environment, enhancing student engagement, professional development, and overall campus experience.
• Represent the School of Engineering at national and international academic platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university/institution.
• Minimum 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience, of which at least 5 years must be at the level of Professor in a recognized institution.
• Proven track record in academic administration, research guidance (Ph.D./M.Tech students), and funded projects.
• Strong research credentials – publications in reputed journals (SCI/Scopus indexed), patents, or equivalent scholarly contributions.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (AICTE, UGC, NAAC, NBA) and ability to lead accreditation processes.
• Demonstrated leadership in building industry-academia linkages, international collaborations, and institutional branding.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a visionary mindset.
