Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Manage team leads for multiple lean, high-performing teams of software architects, software engineers, and QA automation engineers.
- Work closely with a product management counterpart to deliver roadmap priorities for one or more products.
- Work closely with product management, team leads, and software architects to develop achievable solutions for large product initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to Momentive product development processes and best practices.
- Use metrics to drive velocity, predictability, and quality delivery.
- Identify and advocate for prioritization of technical debt and non-functional roadmap items.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within teams to reduce or remove key person dependencies.
- Identify and communicate delivery risk to product management.
- Manage resource allocation to match product priorities.
- Provide coaching and mentorship for technical team members.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing software development teams.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and tools.
- Experience working in a product-led, metrics-driven organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build collaborative relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
