creative direction and execution of diverse architecture projects for a Delhi based Architecture & Design firm.. As a key member of the leadership team, the Design Director will be responsible for shaping the design strategy & ensuring excellence in design delivery .This role involves managing design teams, collaborating with clients, and ensuring projects align with the firm’s values and global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership: Provide strategic and creative direction for all architectural projects, from concept to completion & establish high standards of design excellence across all projects.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the design process to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with client goals & guide design development.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and translating it into design solutions.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Business Development & Strategy: Support the business development team by participating in pitches and design presentations to win new projects & help shape the firm's design strategy and contribute to its long-term growth and reputation globally.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team of architects and designers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development opportunities.

Requirements to succeed:

• 15 or more years of experience and 5 years in a design leadership role within the Architecture & Design industry.
• Significant talent in design, design development, and project leadership
• Relevant project experience of large scale projects across residential and commercial sectors
• Ownership in client-facing environment
• Self starter + team player
• Excellent written and oral communicator
• Organized and able to track multiple work streams and prioritize in terms of urgency and impact
