Job Title: Manufacturing Head

Employment Type: Fulltime permanent

Location: Hebbal, Bengaluru, KA

General Description:

Manufacturing Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations including process planning, production, quality, and delivery.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies for sheet metal, machining, composites, and assembly.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, tools, and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and production schedules to meet business targets.
• Evaluate and onboard new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve technical and delivery issues.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
• Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Build cross-functional alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Champion employee engagement and professional development.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 18–20 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and operations.
• Deep expertise in sheet metal fabrication, precision machining, composite materials, and assembly processes.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex manufacturing programs.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial engineering sectors.
• Exposure to digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and smart factory initiatives.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar certifications.
