Director of Business Development

As a Business Development Manager at Shepherds.homes, you will play a crucial role in leading end-to-end property sourcing, acquisition, and partnerships to drive asset growth for the company. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, engaging, and closing acquisition deals for residential properties suitable for short-term rental. - Building a robust lead pipeline through CRM, digital tools, local brokers, and direct property owner outreach. - Qualifying and nurturing leads, conducting property appraisals, and negotiating terms for win-win deals. - Developing partnerships with developers, aggregators, and real estate professionals to scale inventory. - Collaborating with operations and analytics teams for seamless onboarding and revenue optimization. - Maintaining accurate pipeline, sales, and market reports for leadership. - Representing Shepherds.homes at industry events to build visibility and trust. - Actively monitoring the real estate market for new growth or partnership opportunities. The ideal candidate for this role will have 3-8 years of experience in business development, property acquisition, or sales in real estate and/or hospitality. You should have a strong track record of managing sales pipelines, using CRM tools, and executing SaaS-style sales processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, while an MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus. Experience in hospitality real estate/short-term rentals is highly valued.
