For more information, visit www.acuitykp.com Position Title- Director Experience Level- 10+yrs Department-IT Location-Gurgaon Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to establish and enforce best practices for data management, quality, security, and compliance across Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Tax domains. The role will ensure data integrity, master data management, and compliance across enterprise-wide ERP, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Darwinbox, and cloud-based business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data governance frameworks, master data management (MDM), regulatory compliance, and ERP integrations, with a focus on ensuring data consistency across multiple platforms, including Oracle Integration Cloud. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Enterprise Data Governance Strategy • Define and implement enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and frameworks. • Develop and enforce data quality, security, and compliance protocols across multi-domain business applications. • Establish governance mechanisms for master data, metadata, reference data, and transactional data. • Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards such as GDPR, SOC 2, IFRS, and SOX. Data Management & MDM Implementation • Lead Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives for key data entities like: • Customer Master (Salesforce, ERP) • Supplier Master (Procurement Cloud, ERP) • Employee Master (Darwinbox, HCM) • Project Master (Project Portfolio Cloud) • Work with IT and business teams to harmonize data models across platforms. • Oversee data cleansing, deduplication, validation, and enrichment processes. Cross-Domain Data Integration & Middleware Oversight • Ensure seamless data flow between ERP, Salesforce, Darwinbox, and financial applications. • Work closely with middleware teams handling Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for ETL, APIs, and data transformations. • Define and maintain data lineage and data cataloging across the enterprise. Data Quality & Compliance • Implement data quality management frameworks to monitor: • Data completeness • Data accuracy • Data timeliness • Data consistency • Establish data ownership and stewardship models across domains. • Ensure compliance with global data protection laws and financial regulations. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting • Work with Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure data alignment and accuracy. • Collaborate with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Develop data governance dashboards and reports using Power BI, BI Publisher, and Oracle EPM. • Provide executive reports on data governance maturity, risks, and compliance status. Required Skills & Experience Technical & Domain Expertise • Deep understanding of enterprise data governance, MDM, and metadata management. • Experience in ERP solutions (Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, etc.) and Salesforce, Darwinbox, and cloud-based applications. • Knowledge of middleware solutions (Oracle Integration Cloud, Informatica, Talend, etc.) for data integration and governance. • Experience in data security, access control, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Data Governance & Quality • Strong experience in data stewardship, data lineage tracking, and data cleansing strategies. • Proficiency in data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or Talend. • Knowledge of data security and privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOC 2, IFRS, SOX, etc.). • Ability to develop data governance policies, workflows, and enforcement mechanisms. Leadership & Stakeholder Management • Proven experience leading data governance programs across multiple business units. • Strong stakeholder management skills to engage finance, procurement, HR, and IT leadership. • Ability to influence executive decision-making with data-driven insights. • Strong communication skills to translate complex data governance concepts into business language. Preferred Qualifications • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DAMA, or equivalent certification. • Experience in large-scale ERP/Cloud transformations and data governance in financial systems. • Understanding of financial, procurement, HR, and compliance data structures. • Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Anaplan, Oracle BI, etc.).
