Job Opening: Chartered Accountant (Taxation) 2 to 5 Years Experience Location: Chembur. The selected candidate will manage taxation for a large portfolio of 25+ SPVs and holding companies engaged in smart meter concession projects. Key Responsibilities: • Handle Direct & Indirect Taxation for 25+ SPVs and holding companies. • Coordinate with consultants for preparation and filing of corporate tax returns. • Prepare and file TDS Returns and GST Returns (preferred), ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. • Guide and coordinate with off-roll teams (including Big 4 firms), ensuring high- quality deliverables. • Manage tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and respond to tax authority notices in coordination with consultants. • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and documentation protocols. • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations, and senior management for business impact decisions. Desired Profile: Technical Skills: • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 25 years of relevant experience. • Background in corporate, industrial roles or reputed CA firms. • Sound knowledge of Direct Tax, TDS, Transfer Pricing, and working knowledge of Indirect Tax is an advantage. • Familiarity with Tally Prime. As a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in direct tax, international tax, and FEMA advisory, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end advisory on Corporate Tax matters, including cross-border tax structuring. Your role will involve conducting and reviewing Transfer Pricing studies and delivering practical solutions to clients. You will also manage Tax Litigation cases, including representation before assessment officers, CIT(A), ITAT, and High Courts. In addition, you will ensure complete FEMA/RBI compliance, including filings and reporting under relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will also include advisory and documentation related to Form 3CB, 15CA/CB, and related remittance matters. You will provide PE advisory and tax exposure analysis for foreign entities and oversee the preparation and filing of Tax Returns for individuals, corporates, and LLPs. Furthermore, you will be required to provide Transaction Tax and M&A tax advisory and deliver Business Valuation services in alignment with regulatory and strategic requirements. Collaboration with clients on Business Advisory engagements is also expected from you. Guiding, mentoring, and managing junior team members across multiple assignments will be part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong exposure to Form 3CB, 15CA/CB procedures and regulatory filings.
