Job Description: Solar Site Assessor About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solar Site Assessor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of residential and/or commercial solar projects by conducting thorough site assessments and preparing accurate reports. Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive site inspections of residential and/or commercial properties to assess suitability for solar energy systems. • Gather accurate measurements and photographs of roofs, shading obstructions, and other relevant site features. • Utilize specialized software and tools to analyze site conditions and generate accurate solar production estimates. • Prepare detailed site assessment reports, including roof dimensions, shading analysis, system design recommendations, and potential energy savings. • Communicate effectively with homeowners, property managers, and other stakeholders regarding site conditions and project feasibility. • Maintain accurate records of all site visits and assessments. • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices during site inspections. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of site assessment processes and tools. • May be required to assist with other tasks as needed, such as project coordination or customer support. Qualifications: • Fluency in English and Kannada. Working knowledge of Hindi. • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, construction) preferred. • Proven experience in construction, roofing, or a related field is a plus. • Strong understanding of solar energy concepts and technologies. • Proficiency in using measuring tools (e.g., measuring tape, laser distance meter). • Excellent data collection and analysis skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1 • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Experience with solar industry software (e.g., Helioscope, Aurora Solar) is a plus. • OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
