Digital Content Writer / Location Haldwani

Purpose of the role

We are looking for a Digital Content Writer to join our Marketing team. You will collaborate closely with the Content and Marketing team to create, edit, and optimise engaging content across digital channels, including our website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and SEO activities. You’ll also support content operations and contribute to creative projects, with opportunities to take ownership of content calendars and processes. Additionally, you will also assist with SEO and Content-related operational activities.

The candidate must have strong work ethics; must be receptive to feedback. We are looking for someone with a natural flair and passion for digital marketing and AI tools, who can work autonomously to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Primary -

• Write SEO-driven content for off-page channels (Quora answers, articles, infographics, etc). You will own the off-page calendar completely once you get a hang of the business.
• Create and manage engaging social media copy (LinkedIn, X/Twitter); take ownership of the posting calendar once trained.
• Optimise on-page content (blogs, resources) based on the optimisation calendar.
• Assist in creating blogs, infographics, and other content assets for TJC Group’s corporate channels.
• Publish content on WordPress in several languages, managing the whole publication process.
• Conduct research to support content creation.
• Manage and maintain high-quality, up-to-date content across all Google My Business profiles

B) Secondary -

• Support marketing operations (HubSpot scheduling, newsletters, etc.).
• Assist with blog translations (FR, DE) via WPML translator.
• Create in-house social media creatives using Canva AI or other AI tools.
• Assist with SEO tasks as needed.

Skills & experience:

• A minimum of 2-4 years' prior experience in content creation is mandatory.
• Proficient level of English (C1/C2 desired).
• A strong writer who loves to write both long form and short form content.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, keen eyes for details and errors, and a knack for correct grammar and syntax.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain consistent communication across teams and departments.
• Experience working with or editing AI-assisted content for fact-checking, polishing tone, ensuring originality.
• Good command of Microsoft office 365, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Keen interest and enthusiasm for the dynamic and ever-evolving world of software and SAP landscape
• Demonstrated aptitude for leveraging AI tools effectively.

Nice to have:

• Experience with tools like WordPress (for publishing), SEMRush for SEO, HubSpot (for Marketing Automation), CANVA (for designing), and other technologies necessary for editing and publishing content.
• Should be up to date with latest content trends and content-related AI tools.
• Knowledge of French or German is a plus.
