DevOps Engineer

Job Description: The DevOps Engineer (Automation) will be responsible for managing and optimizing the entire code deployment pipeline—from SCM check-in through production deployment. This role focuses on creating efficient, scalable, and reliable automation solutions for .NET/Java-based projects and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, build, and support automated deployment pipelines that are efficient, repeatable, and cost-effective.

· Manage and resolve all deployment and infrastructure-related issues across development, testing, and production environments.

· Develop and maintain resilient, fault-tolerant automation solutions that support zero-downtime upgrades.

· Collaborate with Operations teams to establish and optimize production deployment processes.

· Automate workflows using cloud-native tools and scripting languages such as Shell or Python, leveraging APIs from leading cloud providers (AWS, Oracle Cloud, and GCP as an add-on skill).

· Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and related DevOps tools for AWS, Oracle Cloud, and optionally GCP.

· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable code delivery to production environments across AWS, Oracle Cloud, and GCP (add-on).

· Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and compliance with product standards.

· Develop custom tools and scripts to enhance the productivity of development and QA teams, with support for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Oracle Cloud, GCP as add-on).

· Deploy and manage workloads primarily on AWS and Oracle Cloud, with GCP as an add-on capability.

· Hands-on experience in AWS and Oracle Cloud environments for deployment, automation, and monitoring.

· Preferred: Experience with cloud migration projects, particularly migrations from AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); knowledge of GCP migration is a plus.

· Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, automation, and deployment-related issues efficiently across multi-cloud environments.

· Continuously monitor and improve product performance, reliability, and quality through automation.

· Ensure high-quality releases through rigorous validation, testing, and deployment automation.

· Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.

· Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, maintaining clear communication and mutual trust.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Experience: 3–5 years in enterprise-level software development and deployment automation projects.

· Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and cloud deployment platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud (GCP as an add-on skill).

· Preferred: Practical exposure to migration projects from AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); experience with GCP integration is advantageous.

· Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation practices across multi-cloud environments.

· Proficient in automation scripting using Python, Bash, or Ruby.

· Working knowledge of Powershell, Docker, Kubernetes, or Packer is an added advantage.

· Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· A passion for continuous improvement and an “automate-everything” mindset.

Pay: ₹436,506.39 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
