Job Description

Striim is used by enterprise companies to monitor events across any environment, build applications that drive digital transformation, and leverage true real-time analytics to provide a superior experience to their customers. At our company, we believe and expect all of our employees to operate as one with unlimited potential and dignity.Striim is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is seeking an opportunity to make an impact for our Pivot to SaaS initiative. We are leveraging the latest technologies (Microservices/Kubernetes/Golang/GCP/Azure/AWS) and bringing more value to our customers via Realtime Data Streaming.

Responsibilities :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliability, SLA, and customer support of our infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

Contributing to a secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure in a rapidly changing environment.
Building, deploying, and monitoring software to ensure that the system’s capacity and performance are adherent to SLAs.
Collaborating with the team on architecture and technical discussions.
Providing on-call support and assisting in fixing production issues.
Working in a fast-paced, agile environment to support continuous delivery.

Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in Programming and System Operations.
Good programming skills in any language. Polyglot preferred.
Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
Hands-on knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Cloud networking knowledge: should understand VPC, NATs, and routers.
Good written communication skills are a must.
Experience in working in an agile and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with high performance distributed systems.
A background in database systems, specifically internals and transaction processing experience with real time event processing.
Contributions to open source is a plus.
Contributions to technical blogs / whitepapers will be an added advantage.
