Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerization. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment processes and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring high availability and performance.
Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
Set up and maintain container orchestration environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor application performance and system health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline the software delivery lifecycle.
Ensure system security through automation, monitoring, and proactive measures.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
Proficient in using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Strong understanding of system administration (Linux/Unix).
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience working with version control systems like Git.
