Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-availability AWS cloud infrastructure
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for product deployments across environments
• Manage EC2, VPC, Load Balancers, EKS/ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, Lambda, and IAM configurations
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / CloudFormation
• Automate environment creation, configuration, backups, patching, and secrets management
• Establish DevOps best practices: bluegreen deployments, rollback, monitoring, logging, DR/BCP preparedness
• Lead performance tuning, auto-scaling strategies, caching, and cost optimization across AWS services
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts using CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, or equivalent tools
• Collaborate with product, backend, and security teams to ensure secure-by-design deployment architecture
• Support penetration testing readiness, incident management, vulnerability remediation, and audit documentation
• Maintain robust access governance, key rotation, encryption policies, and MFA enforcement

Qualifications & Skills

• 6+ years of experience working as a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
• Strong architectural knowledge of AWS ecosystem and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Jenkins/GitHub Actions, etc
• Expertise in Linux administration, networking, firewall security, and LDAP/SSO integrations
• Familiarity with Databases (RDS/MySQL/NoSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, CloudFront)
• Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Pro
