Role & responsibilities

Lead and Design: Lead the design, implementation, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, high availability, and security for the Digital Concierge App.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of infrastructure engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and ensuring adherence to best practices in infrastructure management.Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage services like AWS ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and other AWS services to provide robust and fault-tolerant infrastructure.CI/CD Pipelines: Oversee the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment, updates, and automation of infrastructure.System Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and availability using AWS CloudWatch, optimizing resource allocation, and minimizing downtime.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI/ML and DevOps teams to integrate and scale AI-driven components (e.g., AWS Bedrock, AWS Lambda) and ensure infrastructure meets application demands.Cost and Performance Optimization: Optimize architecture for cost-efficiency, ensuring system scalability and performance during peak traffic periods (e.g., FIFA events).Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards, including the implementation of AWS WAF, IAM, KMS to protect user data and maintain data privacy compliance (GDPR).Infrastructure Automation: Drive automation initiatives using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or other IaC frameworks for consistent and efficient infrastructure management.Disaster Recovery and Capacity Planning: Perform regular infrastructure audits, including capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity planning.Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in infrastructure processes and systems to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.Mentorship and Coaching: Provide technical leadership and coaching to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
