DevOps Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and innovation-driven DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our development and deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps best practices. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the full software development lifecycle in a modern, agile environment.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automation, cloud platforms, and continuous integration/delivery, with a strong commitment to security, quality, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runners, Maven, Nexus, and NPM.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with developers and QA to integrate Quality Gates, SAST, and SCA tools into the SDLC.
- Champion Agile and DevOps principles across teams using tools like Jira or Asana.
- Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git and GitLab.
- Support containerization and orchestration efforts (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Secure APIs and microservices using OAuth2, SAML, and industry-standard protocols.
- Work with cross-functional teams building microservices and front-end applications using ReactJS, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
- Enable observability and monitoring across environments and deployments.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, etc.).
- Familiarity with code quality and security scanning tools (SAST, SCA, SonarQube, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Linux, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation.
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end stacks (e.g., ReactJS).
- Familiar with OAuth2, SAML, and other authentication/authorization standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related areas.
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Exposure to front-end build tools and NPM package management.
