15 years full time educationSummary: - Lead DevSecOps Team - Integrate Security into the SDLC - Azure Cloud DevOps Management & implementation to reach adequate levels of security and code quality. - Continuous Monitoring & Incident Response - Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination - DevSecOps Tools & Technology Management & Monitoring: Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate tools and technologies that support DevSecOps objectives in a Microsoft-centric environment. - Collaboration & Tracking on AzureDevOps Boards - Future Proofing: Consistent learning and improving CI/CD Frameworks. - Ongoing Process Improvement: Establish a feedback loop and metrics to measure the effectiveness of DevSecOps practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Have previous experience in leading teams - Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Microsoft Azure is a must – including hands-on knowledge of Azure services. - DevOps & CI/CD. - Security Engineering. - Infrastructure as Code & Automation. - Tools & Technologies: Hands-on experience with a range of tools that are typically part of a DevSecOps toolchain: Version Control (Azure Repos or GitHub). CI/CD (Azure DevOps Pipelines & GitHub Actions). Containers: (Docker; Kubernetes & secure practices). Monitoring/Logging (Azure Monitor, App Insights). Security Tools (SAST: SonarQube, DAST: OWASP ZAP, dependency/composition (Dependency Checker) and container image scanners. Network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS), how they interface with cloud (Azure NSGs, WAF, etc.) and Azure Key Vault for secret management. Operating Systems (Windows Server). - Frameworks & Methodologies: Familiarity with at least one security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS benchmarks, and OWASP is expected. - Knowledge of DevOps/Agile methodologies and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles is also helpful to align security and continuity with agile delivery. - While not mandatory, relevant certifications add significant value: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), or Azure Solutions Architect certifications demonstrate Azure expertise. - Years Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of industry experience in IT with significant exposure to software development, system administration, and security is expected. Out of this, at least 3+ years should be in roles specifically focused on DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud security. Prior experience leading a team or project for at least 1 year, as this is a leadership role that requires mentoring staff and driving initiatives. - Familiarity with Microsoft-centric environments is crucial; experience working with Azure cloud services and Windows Server environments is required.
