DevOps Engineer

9Envoy Technologies is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes-based platforms, modern CI/CD pipelines, and multi-cloud SaaS deployments. The role involves end-to-end ownership of deployment automation, infrastructure reliability, and observability across enterprise-grade and customer-facing environments. Candidates with hands-on experience in Jenkins, CircleCI, and Bamboo will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain reusable Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and deployment templates.
• Manage and support containerized applications across Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, and OpenShift.
• Ensure Kubernetes clusters follow best practices for security, performance, scalability, and availability.
• Support deployments in both dedicated and shared customer environments.
• Design, implement, and own CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI & Bamboo.
• Integrate Git-based workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) with automated build, test, security scan, and deployment stages.
• Improve release velocity while maintaining production stability and audit compliance.
• Deploy and operate workloads across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost, scalability, and performance, aligning with best practices.
• Implement autoscaling, resource quotas, and capacity monitoring.
• Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of Dev, QA, UAT, and Pre-Prod environments.
• Enable self-service workflows for development teams.
• Streamline CI/CD and platform tooling to improve engineering productivity and time-to-market.
• Implement full-stack observability using OpenTelemetry (OTLP), Prometheus and Grafana.
• Configure alerts, dashboards, and SLO/SLA monitoring.
• Integrate monitoring and alerting into CI/CD pipelines for proactive issue detection.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have):

• 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes (cluster operations, networking, security, scaling).
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, CircleCI and Bamboo
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OpenShift.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, or Groovy.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform or CloudFormation
• Configuration management using Ansible.
• Solid understanding of cloud and Kubernetes security
• Experience building and operating monitoring and observability platforms

Preferred / Good to Have:

• Cloud or DevOps certifications
• Exposure to virtual Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience designing secure multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Development background in Java or Python.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, usage tracking, and budget controls.
• Familiarity with Indian enterprise compliance and audit practices.
