About the Role:

Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers to achieve high performance and professional growth.
Oversee day-to-day development operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and project timelines.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative engineering culture.

Project Delivery

Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within scope, budget, and deadlines.
Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and priorities.
Ensure best practices in software development, testing, and deployment are followed.
Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.

Technical Oversight

Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
Stay current with emerging technologies and drive the adoption of modern tools and practices.
Review and improve code quality, development processes, and system performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [industry e.g., fintech, healthcare, SaaS, e-commerce].
Hands-on experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
Certification in Agile/Scrum or Project Management (PMP, CSM, etc.).
Previous experience in scaling engineering teams or startup environments.
