PriceFX Developer - Design Lead/ Solution Architect

Experience: 3-8 yrs

Location: Bangalore

Role description:

Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the PriceFx products, various modules/accelerators and the underlying infrastructure setup. The ideal candidate would have done Low level design technical feasibility assessment activities on multiple PriceFX deployments and can hit the ground running. Candidate should have background as a PriceFX as a Developer (at least 2-3 years) and has prior working knowledge hands on experience of PriceFX Product to be able to guide development team on complex technical challenges. The candidate should also have the ability to think beyond PriceFX Product across the application landscape and will drive the integration of the PriceFX deployments with other applications in the organization’s IT landscape.

Mandatory requirement: The candidate must be PriceFx Certified Configuration Engineer. Other PriceFx certifications will be an added advantage

Key responsibilities:

• Working with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate End User Requirements into Technical Design Specifications

• Design lead should be involved and contribute to impact assessment, technical feasibility analysis, high level PFX approach that is required before planning & commitment.

• •Leading PoCs (design and execution) by defining the technical parameters and design to meet the business objectives and success criteria

• •Ensure data requirements are accurately documented for implementation of PriceFX Solution by working closely with Data Architects.

• •Identify any customization request from low level design perspective, highlight it to business architect and PM

• Ensure high level code review before every deployment.

• Assist in obtaining final sign off by ensuring necessary impact assessment, release notes validation, connect with Configuration Engineer’s to mitigate all identified gaps.

• •Review cut-over plan with the PMs/Product teams

• •Work with product teams to ensure the right outcomes for code scan

• Triage / drive technical investigation(s) and give inputs for RCA in case of cluster-wide technical issues.

Technical and functional experience:

• Design and configure the PriceFX solution leveraging both the PriceFX native language and out of the box scripting while ensuring that meet enterprise platform requirement. • Proficient in developing applications using Java/Groovy

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles involving Java or Groovy

• Experience with SQL databases and web technologies (HTML, JSON, REST API, etc.)

• Prior experience with System Integrations

• Functional understanding of agile methodologies ,creative-thinking and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrate experience with full Software Development Lifecycle

• Prior experience in Vendavo Price Optimization/CPQ platforms will be an added advantage
