Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and networking issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications
• Assist in setting up user accounts and access rights
• Monitor and maintain IT inventory of hardware and software
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or relevant teams
• Maintain logs of IT issues and resolutions for reporting purposes

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in desktop support or IT support
• Good knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, IP configuration)
• Familiarity with Windows OS, MS Office, and common business applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field is preferred
