Job Summary:

Desktop Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows and macOS environments.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and Office 365.
• Support video conferencing systems and assist with meeting room setups.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management on end-user systems.
• Log all incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice).
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with network and systems teams for escalated issues.
• Educate users on best practices, security protocols, and self-help resources.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Three

  Polytechnic Diploma

  or

  bachelor’s degree (Regular / Full Time)

• 2–5years of experience

  in desktop or technical support (entry-level roles may require less).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft Office 365.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
• Experience with IT asset management and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and user provisioning.

Soft Skills:

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• On-site support may be required.
