Design Production Coordinator

Design Production Manager Key Responsibilities:

1. Ahmedabad-Based Production Oversight • Own end-to-end responsibility for all design production activities happening in Ahmedabad. • Act as the central point for collecting metal print files from the design team and preparing them for production. • Ensure all technical design production work meets quality, material, and manufacturing requirements.

2. Production Planning & Coordination Translate design concepts into executable production plans, aligning with material specifications and manufacturing capabilities. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the timely execution of production workflows. Develop and manage production schedules, balancing priorities across multiple projects.

3. Technical Oversight & Quality Control Review and validate artwork files to ensure technical accuracy and production readiness. Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure consistency, durability, and design integrity across all outputs. Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions in collaboration with designers and manufacturers.

4. Vendor & Material Management Source and manage third-party vendors and fabrication partners for surface-specific production (e.g., mosaic setters, metalworkers, marble fabricators). Evaluate and select materials based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and design intent. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a key liaison between design, operations, logistics, and sales teams to streamline project execution. Ensure production outputs align with client expectations and project timelines. Provide regular production updates and flag risks or delays early.

6. Process Optimization & Documentation Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize waste. Maintain accurate records of production specifications, timelines, budgets, and feedback for future reference. Standardize documentation for repeatable designs and custom projects.

7. Team Management production staff or coordinators, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability. Provide training and support on materials, processes, and tools as needed.
