Design Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PEB Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of pre-engineered steel buildings, ensuring structural integrity, code compliance, and cost-effective solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge, design experience, and familiarity with industry-standard software. --- Key Responsibilities: Perform structural design and analysis of pre-engineered buildings including primary and secondary steel members. Prepare and review GA, fabrication, and erection drawings. Generate material specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM). Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IS, AISC, MBMA, etc.). Optimize structural designs for efficiency, weight, and cost. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, production, and erection. Provide technical support during fabrication and on-site installation. Maintain accurate documentation of all designs and revisions. Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations. --- Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and Mechanical Engineering 2–6 years of experience in PEB or structural steel design. Proficiency in design software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Tekla, MBS, or similar. Strong understanding of steel design principles and industry codes. Good communication and project coordination skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety. --- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with international design codes (e.g., AISC, Eurocode).
