Design Engineer

Performing design & calculation for various task for mechanical piping, equipment, fitting, etc. Ø Working on AutoCAD for Isometric, GA drawing, P & ID, etc. for projects. Ø Responsible for implementing quality control process, maintaining the same with no non-conformances and corrective action systems at HO level & in Project sites. Ø Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation internally and externally. Ø Verify contractor quality requirements as specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals. Ø Preparing quality assurance plan, ITPs, job procedures, FQP, field inspection reports, protocols, method statements, procedures and suggesting modifications as required to take client approvals. Ø The preparation and control of various project related documents such as project quality system, project planning documentation, required Govt / Client / PMC / TPI approvals/permission/ licenses etc. prior to project commencement and during Project. Ø Coordinate & Expedite Activities among department & sites for effective closing on time. Ø Control and distribution of all the project related information to concern employees/departments. Ø Assignment related to design, Procurement, Bidding etc to be taken up and close as per requirement. Ø Monitor and track all the project related activities / progress. Ø Technical Assistance to the Reporting seniors. Ø Preparation of BOQ /BOM/ Data sheet etc for the project requirement Ø Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company’s management. Ø Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals Ø Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the team. Ø Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system also recommend and implement improvements if required. Ø Preparation of MIS Status for sites and assignments Ø Ensure adherence to ISO and HSE standards and procedures related to work area Qualifications Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software Project Management skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Experience with marine construction and/or offshore engineering is a plus.
