Design Engineer

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development

   of centrifugal chemical process pumps in SolidWorks.
2. Formulation of

   new pump series concepts

   and

   series-wise documentation

   .
3. Creation of

   3D component models

   and full pump assemblies including accessories.
4. Designing and developing

   die moulds, patterns

   , and

   tooling

   for part manufacturing.
5. Preparation of

   drafts for machining and finishing

   operations.
6. Development of

   assembly drawings

   and manuals.
7. Generation of

   QC drawings and documentation

   for quality inspection.
8. Drafting of

   product use manuals

   ,

   technical datasheets

   , and

   installation guides

   .
9. Creating

   cross-section views

   and

   bill of materials (BOM)

   for internal and customer reference.
10. Preparation of

    general arrangement (GA) drawings

    for customer approvals.
11. Providing

    on-floor support

    to the Production Team to resolve design or assembly challenges.
12. Supporting

    Marketing & Sales teams

    with technical inputs and documentation – both pre- and post-order.
13. Collaborate in the

    continuous improvement

    of pump design standards and tools.

✅ Requirements:

• Education:

  Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Software Proficiency:

  Must be proficient in

  SolidWorks

  (3D modeling and drafting).

• Knowledge of:

  Pump mechanics, fluid dynamics, mechanical assemblies, material selection, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
